Sobre Mim
Dramaturga, diretora, atriz e pesquisadora. Desde 2013, trabalha com teatro e pesquisa. Doutoranda em artes da cena pela UNICAMP com a pesquisa “Bê-a-bá Babel: Como fazer monstros com as palavras? - A dramaturgia performativa entre linguagens”. Mestra em Artes da Cena pela UNICAMP com a pesquisa “Por uma dramaturgia monstra!” com orientação de Matteo Bonfitto. Bacharela em Artes Cênicas pela UFBA onde foi bolsista PIBIC com a pesquisa “A escrita falada: dramaturgia da contação de história”. Formada em dramaturgia pela SP Escola de Teatro, coordenação: Marici Salomão. Integrou o Teatro Base - Grupo de pesquisa sobre o método da atriz. Autora do livro Gambiarras Sentimentais publicado pela editora Patuá. Performer, dramaturga e diretora de Pânico Vaginal que foi premiado na semana paulistana do curta metragem e na mostra CRASH de cinema fantástico. Diretora e dramaturga da peça “As Coisas Que Perdemos no Fogo”. Co-diretora e dramaturga da peça “Trials and Passions of Unfamous Women” ” (uma co-produção do LIFT Festival, Clean Break e Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, realizada em Londres - Reino Unido). Organizadora e curadora do festival de dramaturgia “Jornadas Heróicas Possíveis”. Dramaturgista e assistente de direção das peças “Stabat Mater” (vencedora do prêmio Shell de dramaturgia) “História do Olho” (indicada ao prêmio Shell de direção) e “Camming – 101 noites”, com direção de Janaína Leite. Atuou como atriz e assistente de dramaturgia na peça “Acúmulos”, com direção de Kenia Dias, dramaturgia de Márcio Abreu. Dramaturgista da peça Capô com direção de Georgette Fadel. Libretista no atelier lírico do Theatro São Pedro. Como performer e dramaturga trabalhou no espetáculo A Bunda De Simone, com direção de Diego Araúja, recebendo a indicação de melhor texto pelo prêmio BRASKEM de teatro. Participou como performer do projeto História Sob Rocha, com direção de Daniel Guerra. Criadora das obras Como Medeia Para Minha Mãe e Remedeia. Realizou a performance “Me conta sua história que eu escrevo” nas praças da cidade de São Paulo.
Ministra diversas oficinas sobre teatro, dramaturgia e performance. Dentre elas, vale destacar “Fazer fazendo: práticas performativas para artistas da cena”; “Nú não artístico”; “Super poderes de baixo orçamento” e “Por uma dramaturgia monstra!”. Ministrou a oficina “‘Dramaturgias híbridas y performativas: El potencial del documento como dispositivo de creación dramatúrgica’ em parceria com Janaina Leite no FIT Cadiz - Espanha.

About Me
Lara Duarte - Playwright, director, actress, and researcher. Since 2013, she has been working with theater and research. She is a PhD candidate in Performing Arts at UNICAMP with the research titled “Bê-a-bá Babel: How to Make Monsters with Words? - Performative Dramaturgy Between Languages.” She holds a Master’s degree in Performing Arts from UNICAMP with the research “Towards a Monstrous Dramaturgy!” supervised by Matteo Bonfitto. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Performing Arts from UFBA, where she was a PIBIC scholarship holder with the research “Spoken Writing: The Dramaturgy of Storytelling.” She graduated in dramaturgy from SP Escola de Teatro, under the coordination of Marici Salomão. She was part of Teatro Base - a research group on the actress's method. She is the author of the book Gambiarras Sentimentais, published by Patuá Editora. She is a performer, playwright, and director of Pânico Vaginal, which won awards at the São Paulo Short Film Week and the CRASH Fantastic Cinema Showcase. She is the director and playwright of the play “As Coisas Que Perdemos no Fogo” (The Things We Lost in the Fire). Co-director and playwright of the play “Trials and Passions of Unfamous Women” (a co-production of the LIFT Festival, Clean Break, and Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, presented in London, UK). She is the organizer and curator of the dramaturgy festival “Jornadas Heróicas Possíveis” (Possible Heroic Journeys). She has been a dramaturg and assistant director for the plays “Stabat Mater” (winner of the Shell Award for Dramaturgy), “História do Olho” (nominated for the Shell Award for Direction), and “Camming – 101 Nights,” directed by Janaína Leite. She acted as an actress and dramaturgy assistant in the play “Acúmulos,” directed by Kenia Dias and with dramaturgy by Márcio Abreu. She was the dramaturg for the play Capô, directed by Georgette Fadel. She worked as a librettist at the lyrical workshop of Theatro São Pedro. As a performer and dramaturg, she worked on the show A Bunda De Simone, directed by Diego Araúja, receiving a nomination for Best Text at the BRASKEM Theater Award. She participated as a performer in the project História Sob Rocha, directed by Daniel Guerra. She is the creator of the works Como Medeia Para Minha Mãe (Like Medea for My Mother) and Remedeia. She performed Me Conta Sua História Que Eu Escrevo (Tell Me Your Story and I’ll Write It) in the squares of São Paulo.
She conducts various workshops on theater, dramaturgy, and performance. Notable among them are “Fazer fazendo: práticas performativas para artistas da cena” (Doing by Doing: Performative Practices for Performing Artists); “Nú não artístico” (Non-Artistic Nude); “Super poderes de baixo orçamento” (Low-Budget Superpowers); and “Por uma dramaturgia monstra!” (Towards a Monstrous Dramaturgy!). She taught the workshop “Dramaturgias híbridas y performativas: El potencial del documento como dispositivo de creación dramatúrgica” (Hybrid and Performative Dramaturgies: The Potential of the Document as a Dramaturgical Creation Device) in partnership with Janaina Leite at FIT Cadiz - Spain.
